Evan is a population geneticist whose research combines mathematical, statistical, and empirical approaches to understand the genetic basis of human variation and disease.
He trained in theoretical population genetics with Dr. John Novembre (University of Chicago) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Shamil Sunyaev (Harvard Medical School / Brigham and Women's Hospital), applying these frameworks to human genetics.
